Position Purpose:

This position is designed to learn and execute the Chain role. The trainees are put through a structured training program including working with managers and chain representatives.

Once through the basic training the position will assist the Chain team as assigned by the Sales Trainee Manager. The weekend sales trainee would also be responsible for ensuring that stores are well stocked while maintaining display and quality standards.

Essential Functions:

• Attendance
• Safely maneuver cases
• Remain compliant with drug, alcohol, and motor vehicle policies
• Maintain work productivity over differing conditions including but not limited to temperature and back stock quantity
• Adhere to all state and company processes and procedures

Principal Accountabilities:

• Responsible for adhering to Saturday/Sunday Chain Service policies in all merchandising accounts.
• Perform all the functions necessary to assist the Sales representative in a professional manner.
• Performs major merchandising projects assisting the managers and sales staff. Position requires a significant amount of physical activity.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer rapport.
• Submit weekend merchandising surveys neatly and on time.
• Understands and complies with all local, state and federal regulations along with all HCB policies and procedures.
